gracious enough to invite me to go flying with him on a short flight to Hondo, TX where we had lunch at the Flightline Cafe. Mark was a great friend and although we crossed paths for only a short time, I'll never forget what a generous and giving person he was. Sadly, Mark passed away in 2004 after having in-flight emergency in the SX. He did a great job of landing in a field but unfortunately didn't survive his post-landing injuries. Mark will be sorely missed by the many people who's lives he brightened. |
