Brian's Flying Adventures

Here are some of the planes I've been lucky enough to fly!

My current office - The Southwest B737.  I was lucky enough to get hired on
with the best airline in the world this year....I started flying the line in October 2004 and
currently fly out of Phoenix Sky Harbor airport.

My other current office - The T-44A Pegasus or King Air as it's more widely known...
This picture was taken at Moffett Field, CA while we were waiting for the fog to lift.

My former office for just a short time in 2004 - The Airbus A319.  I had a great time
at Frontier but only got to fly the "Bus" a few times.
This beautiful SX-300 belonged to Mark Bratton, a good friend of mine.  Mark was
gracious enough to invite me to go flying with him on a short flight to Hondo, TX where we had lunch at the Flightline Cafe.  Mark was a great friend and although we crossed paths for only a short time, I'll never forget what a generous and giving person he was.  Sadly, Mark passed away in 2004 after having in-flight emergency in the SX.  He did a great job of landing in a field but unfortunately didn't survive his post-landing injuries.
Mark will be sorely missed by the many people who's lives he brightened.
Another gorgeous kitplane.  This one belongs to Chuck Graves who lives in Phoenix, AZ.
I was very interested in the Whirlwind Propeller that Chuck flys behind...so before long
I was headed out to Phoenix for my first flight in a Glasair!  Thanks Chuck!
Another of Chuck's planes...and another ride of a lifetime...Someday I may just
have to get a Pitts!  Special thanks to John for taking me up during his practice
aerobatic routine!
The mighty T-37 Tweet...here I am doing a pre-flight during pilot
training at Sheppard AFB, TX.
I flew the T-1A Jayhawk out of Laughlin AFB, TX.  It was a great plane to fly but unfortunately I was only there for a short time.
The T-38 Talon.  Also flown during pilot training at Sheppard AFB, TX.
My UPT class was 93-03.
I flew the C-130E Hercules out of Pope AFB for 3 years.
What a great airplane!
Here I am after my last flight in the C-130.
Can't forget the good old Piper Warrior!
I know it's not an airplane....and no I didn't get to fly the space shuttle...but I
did get to try on the spacesuit during a trip to the David Clark Company in Worchester, MA.
Thanks to Hal S. at Sporty's Pilot Shop for setting it up.
What a view...
